What We Do
Kiwonnongo Foundation Inc ( KFI). is an NGO organization licensed in Florida USA( 501 (c)( 3) and in Uganda, formed to support the community of Kiwonnongo, Lunya, and neighboring villages of Lwamata Sub-county, Kiboga District in Uganda. The idea started with a Kiwonnongo village born child who has a dream to develop her community that is highly stricken by illiteracy, poverty and preventable diseases. The idea was born to educate the children and their community members and then extend from that point.

One of our main causes here at Kiwonnongo Foundation is the expansion of St Jerome Emilian Academy, an issue that touches many lives, particularly those in the greater Lunya area. Community Development
One of our goals is to ensure that the most vulnerable and at-risk groups in the greater Lunya area are safe and have their basic needs taken care of. Microfinance
Micro-finance is a viable instrument and is a promising tool to tackle poverty in the developing world. The micro-finance opportunity in Kiwonnongo Foundation Inc shall be derived from the fact that the provision of financial services can contribute to poverty reduction and pass the test of sustainability at the same time. The approach that is proposed here, by the Kiwonnongo Foundation Inc, will address the whole problem of providing for micro-finance. A complete plan and vision for sustainable development.
